It is mandatory respect the following distances from the flue lining:

At least 16 cm of a piece of frame.

11 cm of a party wall.

7 cm of any wood piece (including door frame or decoration element).

If the flue lining is crossing concrete floor, it has to be insulated using cement-lime mortar or refractor mortar.

The flue lining must not touch any flammable material (including flammable insulating material).

Plan the steps of work and supply adequate materials and tools accordingly.

The work area must remain clean at all time without things obstructing the working area and it must be well ventilated.
- 6.
Place warning sings and surround dangerous areas with barriers preventing the entrance.
- 7.
Everything has to be singposted.
- 8.
Stop all type of work with extremely bad climate conditions.
- 9.
Each step has to be protected as soon as it is placed with a plastic sheet and a board of wood or carpet tiles to avoid stains and scratches on the finished surface.
- 10.
Every worker has to know the safety rules and wear his safety equipment at all time.
- 11.
Equipments operators have to be trained according to the safety regulations.
